To connect each client with the perfect stylist for them. We don't believe in "Just going to any stylist available." We want you to really connect with and appreciate the artist you work with.
Our Salon
Our salon has been a part of the Lakeview neighborhood since 1996. It was one of the early adopters of the independent stylist / booth rental salons in Chicago. Each stylist not only does color and cuts, but they book their own appointments and set their own prices and hours. They each truly run their own business inside of The Colour Room salon. This allows each stylist to truly be an expert and artist in the services they are passionate about.

Your Appointment
Our salon is located at 3517 N Lincoln Ave, in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago.
If you are arriving by train, we are located between the Addison and Paulina Brown Line stops. Either one is a short 4 minute walk away from the salon. * If you are hoping to grab a coffee before you arrive, Starbucks is close to the Paulina stop, Dunkin Donuts & Loba are close to the Addison stop.
If you are driving, there is generous amounts of street parking on Lincoln Ave ( don’t forget to download the parkChicago app), and sometimes there are a few open spots behind the salon on Hermitage. Feel free to park there, and if it’s Cubs season, we have daily parking passes to avoid a ticket.
Enter through our front door on Lincoln Ave ( our door remains locked, and we will let you in after you press our doorbell).
Come inside, feel free to make yourself at home. We have complimentary bottled water, sparkling water, pop, tea and coffee to drink, as well as magazines and free wifi.
Your stylist will greet you when they are ready to start your appointment. So take a seat in our sunny waiting area, and relax.
Your stylist is running their own business within the salon, so they will be the person to schedule your appointment, perform your services, take your payment directly and will rebook your next appointment. If you have any questions before or after your appointment, contact them directly and they will be happy to help.
